Collector Takeover is a curated collectibles event designed to bring collectors together in a welcoming, well-organized environment.

Launched in Fall 2025 under the name Poke-A-Con, the original vision was to create a show that worked for both collectors and families alike — a space where experienced hobbyists, kids, and first-time attendees could all feel comfortable and excited to be there. From the layout of the floor to the mix of vendors, the focus was always on creating an event that felt accessible, enjoyable, and easy to navigate.

As the community grew, so did the scope of the show. What began with a strong emphasis on Pokémon expanded naturally into sports cards, comics, toys, video games, art, and signed memorabilia, reflecting the wide range of interests within the collecting community.

That growth led to the evolution into Collector Takeover.

Collector Takeover represents the next step forward — a broader, multi-category collector show that maintains the same standards and values the event was built on. Each show is intentionally curated to balance vendors, collectors, and families, creating an experience that feels organized, engaging, and worth returning to.

At its core, Collector Takeover is about shared experiences — whether that’s a first trade, a long-searched-for item, or simply spending the day enjoying the hobby together.

This is more than a show — it’s a takeover.
